In June 2026, SDMC Engineering Laboratory received accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) following a comprehensive assessment.
CNAS is China’s national accreditation body for conformity assessment. Its laboratory accreditation system is part of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) mutual recognition framework, supporting broader international recognition of accredited testing capabilities and results.
The accreditation confirms that SDMC Engineering Laboratory meets recognized requirements for technical competence, quality management, equipment, personnel, and standardized laboratory operations, further strengthening the company’s quality and compliance capabilities for global markets.
Established in April 2024, the 1,400-square-meter laboratory operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and serves as SDMC’s integrated product validation center, with a strong focus on reliability testing.
The facility includes 13 specialized testing areas covering digital video, networking, and projector products. Its capabilities include climatic and environmental testing, mechanical testing, RoHS restricted substance testing, networking scenario simulation, and Wi-Fi stress testing.
As a key part of SDMC’s R&D validation and quality assurance system, the laboratory supports product development, reliability improvement, and issue resolution through standardized processes, professional testing teams, and an continuously enhanced quality management system.
