SDMC Highlights AI-powered One Home Solution at GITEX 2023

GITEX GLOBAL 2023, the largest tech and startup event in the world, came to a successful close at the Duiba World Trade Centre, UAE on October 20 local time. This year's event attracted 6,000 exhibitors and 180,000 tech executives from over 180 countries. At this exhibition, SDMC presented the AI-powered One Home Solution, garnering widespread attention from attendees.
SDMC's One Home Solution is all about operators' home business, covering from home networking, TV entertainment to smart home. At GITEX GLOBAL 2023, SDMC demonstrated the One Home solution, showcasing a full range of products for home scenarios. In terms of home networking, SDMC presented its latest broadband devices like Wi-Fi 7 XGS-PON ONT, DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem and 5G CPE, helping operators implement home broadband services, deliver whole-home coverage and ensure the high-speed operation of home services.

With regard to OTT solutions, SDMC, as a Google & Netflix certified Partner, highlighted an array of OTT devices like IPTV/OTT/Hybrid Android TV devices for operators with varying form factors, such as STBs, dongles, smart projectors, and smart speakers helping operators improve ARPU by delivering time-to-market, customization, and ultimate customer experience.

Additionally, telecom operators are implementing various strategies to expand their smart home services by bundling smart home solutions with existing offerings, which enhances and strengthens their portfolios of broadband propositions. Furthermore, SDMC also showcased its smart home IoT suite at the event, encompassing scenarios such as security and energy-saving in addition to home entertainment. All smart home devices can be efficiently managed through XHome AI platform, a comprehensive smart home IoT management platform. This assists operators in expanding their smart home portfolios, enriching business scenarios, reinforcing their role in this ecosystem, and monetizing the smart home opportunity.
