Lukup to Introduce Wi-Fi Supported Set top boxes

Indian Bengaluru-based start-up Lukup is planning to introduce a new set top box that with the functions of a broadband router, The Economic Times reports. Lukup's offering is similar to IPTV. The services are delivered over internet, rather than through satellite or cable signals. It new set top box stands out by embedding a Wi-Fi router in the device.
 
The device, which took two years to build, is fed by a single fiber optic cable pipe that can carry both internet and TV signals. Lukup bundles its cable with the cable operator to leverage the operator's last mile access to homes.

DV7904-C is a quad core H.265 1080P hybrid DVB-C set-top box with DRM 2.4GHZ or 5GHz WI-Fi
